About the Barren County Band Boosters.

The award winning Barren County High School Trojan Marching Band had been in existance since 1974.  The program is directed by Dr. Kip Crowder who is in his 12th year with the Marching Band Program.  

 

The progam is open to students from 8th grade to 12th grade from Barren County Middle and High Schools,  The program starts with its 3 week band camp to begin the year.  There students learn the routines, and music they will perform during the season.  

 

Our marching band has performed in a great many local and national venues such as Carnegie Hall.  They have for the past 7 years retained the Governor's cup during competition at Middle Tennessee State University.  They have also performed with distinction at the Kentucky Music Educators Conference for the past 4 years.  

 

In 2016 the band hopes to travel to Washington DC to participate in the Cherry Blossom Festival in out nations capital.
